Jeffrey Goldberg believes his blood his pure golden Jewish blood!

The Ashkenazi Jew who claims ancesstry to Palestine -Goldberg- is on the left, a Yemeni Jew in the middle and an Ethiopian Jew on the right. Do the other two Jews also share Goldberg's prestine 'Jewish blood' and superior 'Jewish dna'? Only if you are deficient in sight and logic! David Rothkopf, one of Charles Freeman's most ardent supporters, has this to say about another Freeman supporter, the cynical Stephen Walt:

Freeman, I can forgive. He had every reason to be angry. Walt, not now, not ever, because whatever the pale intellectual merits of his hackneyed argument may be, he and Mearsheimer know full well that their prominence on this issue has come not because they have had a single new insight but rather because they were willing and one can only believe inclined to play to a crowd whose "views" were fueled by prejudice and worse. They may not be anti-Semites themselves but they made a cynical decision to cash in on anti-Semitism by offering to dress up old hatreds in the dowdy Brooks Brothers suits of the Kennedy School and the University of Chicago. They did what the most desperate members of academia do, they signed up to be rent-a-validators, akin to expert witnesses who support the defense of felons with specious theories served up on fancy diplomas. They would argue that they were daring to speak truth to power. In reality they were giving one crowd in particular precisely what it wanted to hear.

My response: Laugh! It is such a convoluted and silly argument that what is one to do but be amused by their desperation to find logic and reason to support their claim where none exist ...I am still laughing!

Why the U.A.E.'s Position on Iran is Not Particularly New

I've been getting a lot of mail about the remarks made by U.A.E. ambassador Yousef al-Otaiba earlier today in a session with me at the Aspen Ideas Festival. The ambassador spoke bluntly about the threat posed to his country by Iran, and he suggested that the idea of Iran going nuclear is worse than the idea of a military strike on Iran to keep it from going nuclear.

Some of those who have written me have expressed surprise at this, but, as much as I'd like to claim a big scoop here, the ambasador's position, though stated more plainly, and publicly, than usual, is the standard position of many Arab states. It is not only Israel that fears the rise of a nuclear Iran; the Arabs, if anything, fear such a development to a greater degree. The Jews and Arabs have been fighting for one hundred years. The Arabs and the Persians have been going at for a thousand. The idea of a group of Persian Shi'ites having possession of a nuclear bomb scares Arab leader like nothing else -- it certainly scares them more than the reality of the Jewish bomb.

My response: Goldberg is very vague with the word 'Jew'. It always lacks an adjective and intentionally so. For example, Goldberg would not dare say that German Jews and Arabs have been at odds with one another for a hundred years since German Jews lived in Germany thousands of miles away from the Arabs and the Arabs would have had no reason to resent them until their stampede to Arab Palestine to colonize it. Goldberg attempts to make it appear as if 'Arabs' and 'Jews' have always lived together. The answer is no. The German Jew, the French Jew, the Polish Jew, the Russian Jew, the American Jew is just as alien to Arab Palestine as is the Eskimo, the Hutu and the Zulu. Goldberg very deceptively attempts to make his readers believe that what the Arab regimes desire is identical to that of the Arab masses. The Arab people being overwhelmingly Muslims would not welcome the statements of some decadent, Zionist and American protected Ambassadors. Those sentiments belong only to the corrupt and decadent rulers and not to the Arab people. Goldberg is also very silent as to the immense weapons of mass destruction that is now in possession of the International Jews who now prefer to call them themselves 'Israelis'. One has to wonder why Muslims would fear the wmd of a Muslim nation vs. that of the Jewish nation.

Turkey and Iran

I'm not blogging much about these two conjoined subjects, in part because I have no time; in part because I have nothing original to say about Turkey's turn toward darkness (except that I hope to be blogging more about Turkey's disgraceful treatment of its Kurdish citizens!); and in part because I don't think that the new sanctions voted on today at the Security Council (with Turkey and Brazil voting no, of course) will do anything to stop Tehran from continuing its march toward aggressive nuclearization, which has, of course, potentially tragic consequences.

My response: There, you heard it; he is going to wage an online battle against Turkey and he has chosen his weapon to be the Kurdish citizens. Of course Goldberg is not motivated by any sense of justice for the Kurds. If that were the case, the sooner justice rendered the better. No! Goldberg would totally remain silent as long as Turkey is friendly towards his stolen state. But the moment Turkey deviates from that path, Goldberg would reach for his pen and start smearing.

The First Cousin of Holocaust Denial

A number of Goldblog readers have written to ask, in essence, why the big deal over batty Helen Thomas? What is so especially offensive about her comments (comments that now seem to have gotten her fired)? I think the answer is fairly obvious. While it is one thing (not a good thing, of course) to argue in euphemism for the destruction of Israel by invoking the so-called one-state solution, it is quite another to advocate for the "return" of Israeli Jews to their German and Polish homelands, not merely because such advocacy is almost comically absurd and cruel (or, at the very least, stunningly ignorant of recent European history) but because this argument denies to Jews what Helen Thomas, and people like Helen Thomas, want to grant the Palestinians: Recognition that they comprise, collectively, a nation.

My response: For some reason, Goldberg believes that the de-colonization of Palestine (the return of the European Jews back to the West) would bring about disaster for his people. But Jews have never done better in the West than the current time. Hitler has been gone for decades. What is he afraid of? It is also noteworthy that the horrific crimes Jewry commits upon the indigenous people of Palestine is not "absurd and cruel", but the going home of Palestine's EUROPEAN colonizers is? Goldberg needs to take a deep breath and understand that huge areas of the planet that were occupied by Europeans have been cleansed of the occupiers. It is just a matter of time before Anglo Jewry too gets the hell away from Palestine, as Helen Thomas said.

Posted: 2010-06-07. The Jews, of course, are an ancient nation, a nation whose history took place in a sliver of land called Israel. Helen Thomas's argument, if you can call it an argument, centers on the pernicious belief that Jews are strangers in a place called "Palestine." Palestine, of course, is the name that was given by the Romans to the Land of Israel precisely in order to sever the connection between the Jews and their homeland. Helen Thomas, and people like her, are thus soldiers in a (Roman-inspired) war against history. This particular war is not as offensive to most people as the war against the memory of the Shoah, but it is rooted in the same grotesque motivation: To deny to Jews the truth of their own history.

My response: Goldberg believes that he and the Ugandan Jews and the Arab Jews all originate from the Arab region! Really? What the hell happened? The Euro Jew looks very Euro and the African Jew African and the Arab Jews Arab and Chinese Jews Chinese! How to explain that? Simple. The notion of a 'Jewish people' is just made up, specially now to justify their theft of Palestine.

The problem with Goldberg's argument is that the word 'Jew' lacks an adjective in the form of 'German Jew', 'Arab Jew', 'Chinese Jew' and so on. Imagine if the Germans had said that 'Christians' used to live in Palestine 2000 years ago and therefore the German Christians attempting to use it as an excuse to colonize Palestine. No! Palestine has always been Arab whose population included Arab Muslims, Arab Jews and Arab Christians and NO Europeans Jews at all! I don't think Goldberg would dare say that Russian Jews used to live in Palestine, he wouild be a laughing stock.

There is a word in Yiddish, seichel, which means wisdom, but it also means more than that: It connotes ingenuity, creativity, subtlety, nuance. Jews have always needed seichel to survive in this world; a person in possession of a Yiddishe kop, a "Jewish head," is someone who has seichel, someone who looks for a clever way out of problems, someone who understands that the most direct way -- blunt force, for instance -- often represents the least elegant solution, a person who can foresee consequences of his actions.

As conceited as it gets! What he is saying is that the gentile is not in possession of such a fine mind as that of the Jew! I am also aware that Jews insult someone in their midst who is not alert and quick as someone with a gentile brain, i.e. stupid!
