UAE hotel erects $11-million-dollar Christmas tree: which has been decked out with US$11 million U.S. (euro14.3 million) worth of gold and precious stones, stands at the lobby of the Emirates Palace hotel, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday Dec. 16, 2010. The hotel's general manager, Hans Olbertz, was quoted in local newspapers Thursday as saying the 43-foot (13-meter) faux fir has 131 ornaments that include gold and precious stones including diamonds and sapphires. The US$11 million symbol of the season has become the latest extravagance at the Emirates Palace hotel, which boasts its own marina, heliport and a vending machine that pops out small gold bars. Biden Vs. Biden on WikiLeaks
On the 16th of December, Biden said Wikileaks caused no damage. On the 17th of December, the very same Biden said Wikileaks caused damage.
- On the 16th of December, Biden attempted to play down the significance of the Wikileaks when he said, 'no damage' and the very next day, he announced that 'it has done damage'?.
- BIDEN on Dec 16: I don't think there's any damage. I don't think there's any substantive damage, no. Look, some of the cables are embarrassing . . . but nothing that I'm aware of that goes to the essence of the relationship that would allow another nation to say: "they lied to me, we don't trust them, they really are not dealing fairly with us."
- BIDEN on Dec 17: This guy has done things that have damaged and put in jeopardy the lives and occupations of other parts of the world. He's made it more difficult for us to conduct our business with our allies and our friends. For example, in my meetings -- you know I meet with most of these world leaders -- there is a desire to meet with me alone, rather than have staff in the room: it makes things more cumbersome -- so it has done damage.

We will not acknowledge 'Israel'.
The Hezbollah chief reminded of the rally in Gaza this week, in the midst of the blockade, under the hovering warplane of the Israeli occupation. ?They stood with great resolve and made the world hear their fixed position: We will not acknowledge Israel. They said it and they reiterated it: We will not abandon one inch of Palestine. Today, from Dahiye that faced the most brutal aggression and remained standing tall, it will unbroken, we respond to our brothers? call in Gaza at a time we are still facing the Israeli threat, we say as: As long as there is blood in our veins we shall never acknowledge Israel. We shall never let down one iota of our land. We shall never forget our sanctities. The Ummah, peoples and governments, is called to make decisive decisions.?

Ben Affleck defends Arabs. Great program. When Arabs and Muslims are insulted, nobody seems to notice or care outside the Arab/Muslim world. Here Affleck compares the same insult against Arabs applied against Jews and how the public would react! Great job! This is a great interview, because when it comes to Arabs and Muslims, everyone is scared to defend them, but Ben Affleck dared to do it. I vote Ben Affleck for man of the year 2010!
Also notice how Bill Maher (sitting opposite Ben Affleck) who describes himself as 'half-Jewish' and who is known to be very anti-Arab and anti-Muslim and always keep repeating during interviews that 'the only language Arabs understand is force' pretends to agree with Ben Affleck when he keeps saying 'right, right, right'. No, Maher was just caught off guard. He hates Arabs and Muslims and he is a strong defender of 'Israel'.

Manning is accused of allegedly leaking a 2007 video of a laughing U.S. Apache helicopter crew gunning down 11 men in Baghdad, Iraq, including a Reuters news photographer.(AP Photo)

"Our position is so simple and natural that we are amazed it should even be questioned. It is exactly the same position you in America take in regard to the unhappy European Jews. You are sorry for them, but you do not want them in your country. We do not want them in ours, either. Not because they are Jews, but because they are foreigners. We would not want hundreds of thousands of foreigners in our country, be they Englishmen or Norwegians or Brazilians or whatever." November 1947.
